To prevent oxidation of steel components during solidification, it is necessary to reduce the oxygen content of liquid steel. This is done by deoxidation of steel to make it tougher and eliminate blowholes and other defects, reducing the amount of non-metallic materials included. Aluminium is a very effective deoxidizer that is often used in steelmaking operations.We manufacture Aluminium De-Oxidants specifically for our clients (Steel Plants in India and abroad), tailored to their individual specifications and requirements.
